Lucas Harmon,
Director of Dental Strategic
Lucas J Harmon, a graduate of Concordia College and a Montana native, has over 20 years of experience in sales, negotiations, consulting, and banking. 15 of those years were working with financing specifically for Dentists. He has worked with Dentists in at least 31 states across the country. Since joining the Dental Strategic team as Director, he has added to the scope of services, expanded the marketing reach, implemented new platforms and tools, and grown the team to better serve our Dentists and their practices.
Meet
Cooper Brown,
Associate Director – Associate Placement and Brokerage
Cooper Brown joined Nashville Dental’s Dental Strategic team in January 2021. He focuses on recruiting DMD/ DDS associates and office staff and for private practices. Beyond recruiting, Cooper works with Lucas, Maegan and Colton on the development of business plans, valuations, projections, and introduction of professional partners and resources as needed to independent dental practices and their owners.
Cooper graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in 2019. Cooper brings several years of relevant experience from his previous roles in Sales and Marketing.
What do you do and what are your goals for your position?
“I oversee the Associate Placement services along with Colton Brown. We represent associate candidates nationwide who are seeking new opportunities as well as the offices who are seeking qualified associates, partners, and buyers. In 2022, Colton and I also plan to expand our recruiting services to include recruitment of various other skill sets, such as Dental Assistants, Front Desk Receptionists, Hygienists, Office Managers, and Clinical Coordinators. I also focus on assisting my Dental Strategic teammates with the development of business plans, projections, and valuations for independent dentists within each career phase – including graduates seeking associateships, practice start-ups, growth within their existing practices, and their eventual transitions.
My goal is to continue to educate myself on trends and factors which significantly contribute to the success of independent dental practices and use my knowledge to be a valuable resource for independent dentists within each phase of their career, from entry to exit.”
Meet
Colton Brown,
Associate Director – Associate Placement and Brokerage
Colton Brown is a new hire to the company and joined the Dental Strategic team. He is focusing on Associate Placement and helping to expand the sourcing process to find qualified Doctors, as well as other personnel needed in the Dental Space.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and spent the last 4 years as a Senior Recruiter sourcing for Fortune 500 companies. He enjoys watching and playing sports (Go Titans!), Business Psychology, exercising, and being out on the lake. On top of that, he is also a self-proclaimed “dad-joke connoisseur,” and is very excited to join the team!
What do you do and what are your goals for your position?
“I oversee the Associate Placement services along with Cooper Brown. I work with both Doctors that are looking to hire an associate or partner, as well as Doctors that might be looking for a new opportunity. I am also working on a new service that we offer that helps Doctors hire for various skill sets, such as Dental Assistants, Front Desk Receptionists, Hygienists, Office Managers, and Clinical Coordinators. Outside of that, I assist within other areas of Dental Strategic, as well as work to build relationships with future Doctors that are in Dental School and looking for their first associateship.
I have a goal of fine-tuning the Associate Placement service to reach doctors nationwide as they look to source for their team, as well as being able to do full lifecycle consulting with doctors for any needs that they have upon starting a new office, or buying a practice.”
Meet
Maegan Conner,
Associate Director – Business Planning and School Relations
Maegan Conner joined the Dental Strategic team in November of 2022. She brings 8+ years of dental experience and a multi-faceted skill set including sales and dental business analytics. Her role at Dental Strategic focuses on business planning services and dental school relations, while also supporting other team member initiatives. Maegan’s specialties include fee and comprehensive practice analysis. She has a passion for private practice and dental entrepreneurship, helping clients to develop goals and an accompanying plan of action. Outside of work, Maegan enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband. She is a lover of fiction novels, particularly psychological thrillers, and mysteries. She is a terrible cook but still tries anyway.
